Neue und 6. Domestic Airline fuer Myanmar
Die neue inländische Airline für Myanmar wird Mitte November 2010 mit 2 neuen modernen französischen ATR 72 an den Start gehen. Die Flugzeuge kommen diese Woche in Yangon an, die ATR 500er-Version mit den je Maschine 6 Propellern, schnell und treibstoffsparend.
Die neue Airline wird `Asia Free´ heissen.
Damit hat Myanmar dann 6 inländisch operierende Fluggesellschaften, neben Air Mandalay, Yangon Airways, Myanmar Airways, Kambawza Air und Air Bagan.

how to get entry visa to Myanmar ? Look at this...
1. Visa on arrival prearrangement starting from 1st September to until further notice.
2. For the client who has no Myanmar embassy in their countries or no time to apply visa, we can provide Pre-arranged visa on arrival service.
3. We recommend getting Myanmar visa in advance from the Myanmar Embassy abroad if you have chance.
4. If you want us to provide the pre-arrange visa on arrival service, pls give us the below information
- Full Name as in passport
- Name of father
- Passport Number
- Date of Birth
- Place of birth
- Passport Issuance & Expiration date (passport must be valid 6 months after arrival!)
- Nationality
- Race
- Religion
- Sex
- Occupation
- Home address
- Reason for visiting Myanmar
- Flights in/out
- Scanned passport photo or copy of passport page with photo
With this information we will apply for a visa on arrival. In order to be able to process the visa in time we need about 7-10 working days.
After getting the approval letter from the authorities, Angel Travel & Tours will send you a copy of this authorization letter to be presented at the check-in counter of the airline (don’t forget – airline will not let you board flight if you do not have it ).
You are requested to bring with you the copy of the authorization letter, 2 passport size pictures and the amount of 30 USD in cash for payment of the visa fee on arrival at airport.

Die Testphase `Visa on Arrival´ ist nach 4 monaten erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Bis 2011 werden alle Myanmar Botschaften weiter und schnell wie gewohnt jegliche visa ausstellen in 3 bis 5 tagen inclusive post weg.
Das populaere und einfache Verfahren soll fuer die saison 2011 - 2012 die Einreisen nach Manmar einfacher und schneller machen. Gerade fuer Geschaeftsleute und vielreisende eine angenehme sache.
Alleine in den ersten 2 monaten Mai und Juni ( eigentlich low season ) der test phase kamen ueber 4500 Gaeste ueber Visa on arrival, plus die mit normalen Visa nach Myanmar.

Thai Air Asia hat nun 2 taegliche fluege nach Yangon, Malaysian Air Asia startete erfolgreich taegliche Fluege sowie Malaysian Airline fliegt nun taeglich nach Yangon. Bangkok Airways wird ab 2. Oktober auch 2 mal taeglich nach Yangon fliegen.

You need at the Yangon Airport
Immigration for Tourism Visa:
- 30 $ US for a 28 days Tourism Visa ( non extandable )
- 40 $ US for a 28 days Social Visa ( extandable, with Home Stay )
- 18 $ US for 24 hours transit Visa
- Free of charge Visa for Children under 7 years with own or in parents passport
You must bring to Yangon International Airport on arrival:
- A valid Return Ticket - Stay at a Hotel, Motel, Guesthouse under Hotel Lizense
- 2 Passport Picture size 4 cm x 6 cm ( not older than 6 months )
- Sign all Immigration Laws
You must show at Yangon International Airport on arrival:
- for FIT 300 $ US per person in cash ( to use during your trip ) just show not change.
- for Families 600 $ US in cash ( to use during your trip ) just show not change.
These 300 $ US or 600 $ US can be shown also in any other major currency instead, in equal amount. You will not be the first, first Tourists came already in to Myanmar on this New Visa on Arrival since Saturday 1st May 2010.
